Hassan 2016 Isola dei Nuraghi Asinara
This wine pays homage to Hassan called 'the beautiful', Third King of Algiers in 1541. Born as a young shepherd boy on the island of Asinara, he was torn from his flock, and later won the favors of Kheie-ed-Dinn, called the Barbarossa.

The vineyards are cultivated on sandy soils with medium texture, raised in spurred cordon in Sorso (SS).
PROCESSING AND AGING
The harvested grapes are cooled with the use of cells. Then select the best bunches and proceed with the destemming soft. It follows a pre-fermentative maceration in cold and on the skins for 20 days in steel at a temperature of 24 º C. It ages in new French oak barrels for at least 14 months and then in bottle for at least 1 year before marketing.
Color: Ruby red
Bouquet: notes of Mediterranean maquis, tobacco, plum, and spices that blend in an engaging evolution.
Taste: strong tannic texture, strong flavor of strong territorial imprint. Very long finish.
Perfect as an elegant aperitif, accompanied by long-aged cheeses. Ideal at the table with the cuisine of the land, especially with game.
