The vineyards are cultivated on sandy soils - clay, raised in spurred cordon at Sorso (SS).
PROCESSING AND AGING
The harvested grapes are cooled with the use of cells. Then select the best bunches and proceed with the destemming soft. The wine is then macerated for 15 days at a temperature of 24 º C. It ages in wooden barrels for 6 months with frequent batonnage and then 12 months in steel. Complete the process with another 6 months in the bottle before marketing.
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Bouquet: Fine and intense, with evident notes of red fruit that alternate with spicy notes of pepper, leather and licorice.
Taste: The aging in wood perfectly integrates the fruity notes without overpowering the flavor of Cannonau. In the mouth is wide and persistent.
Perfect with tasty first courses. Ideal with red meat main courses such as beef, but also poultry and game.
