Barrua was born from a joint venture between prominent figures such as Giacomo Tachis, of the Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia Group, the Cantina di Santadi and the founder Antonello Pilloni.

ORIGIN
Typical grapes of the lower Sulcis cultivated between Narcao and Barrua with the addition of French varieties vinified in purity.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest between September and October. This is followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging for approximately 18 months in new French oak barriques. They then spend at least 12 months in the bottle to complete maturation.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense and lively ruby red.
Perfume: complex aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, notes of liquorice and myrtle.
Taste: full-bodied and generous on the palate, it is characterized by a subtle and soft tannic texture and a spicy finish.
COMBINATIONS
It goes well with game, red meats and mature cheeses.
