GRAPE VARIETY 100% Vernaccia
GRADATION 15%
ORIGIN
Sapling vines rooted on sandy soil in Sinis, in the lower Tirso Valley.
PROCESSING
Vinification according to tradition, in white, with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Maturation in oak and chestnut barrels for around 4 years, kept full to allow the development of the flor yeasts, a thin layer of yeasts which guarantees very slow oxidation of the wine, giving very complex tertiary aromas to the Vernaccia bouquet.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense golden yellow with red and amber reflections.
Perfume: intense, broad and ethereal, with the characteristic note of flowering almond.
Taste: Dry, dry, full, which extends on the pleasantly acidic, warm and harmonious base.
COMBINATIONS
Ideal as a dessert and meditation wine. It goes well with some Sardinian desserts and pairs particularly well with the typical mullet bottarga. Served fresh it is excellent as an aperitif.
