Barrosu in the Sardinian language means bold, stubborn, arrogant and is the nickname that Giovanni Montisci gave to his wine and to himself with great self-irony. The name of this wine is instead a dedication that the owner dedicates to his wife Franzisca (Francesca).

PROCESSING AND AGING
The production counts only 2500 bottles, it comes from the oldest vines, about 90 years old. Cannonau in purity, left to macerate on the skins for 25 days and then subjected to manual fulling. Aging for two years in large barrels.

Color: dark ruby red.
Bouquet: intensity and exuberance that do not discount. immediately evident the Mediterranean trace from the olfactory point of view, hints of cocoa, oregano, red fruit in jam.
Taste: taste of great warmth and impact. Sensations perfectly balanced by uncommon freshness and flavor.

Ideal with structured dishes, such as stewed wild boar, but also grilled red meats and aged cheeses such as Fiore Sardo.
