The name Fradiles in Sardinian means “ cousins ”, because the winery is the result of the union between the properties of cousins Paolo and Antonio.

ORIGIN
Vineyards trained on bush and espalier systems in the heart of Mandrolisai, a hilly area at around 550 metres above sea level in the Atzara area, on the western side of the Gennargentu mountain range, on granite weathering soils with a medium texture tending towards sandy.
PROCESSING
The grapes, harvested in early October, are vinified together. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for approximately 8–10 days. The must is processed in stainless steel and aged partly in 750- and 500-liter wooden barrels for approximately 10 months, and partly in stainless steel.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense and consistent ruby red.
Aroma: long bouquet with hints of berries, cherries and Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: fresh and moderately tannic, warm and soft, intense and persistent.
COMBINATIONS
Fradiles pairs well with traditional country dishes, as well as with aged cheeses and game. Try it with roast pork ribs or a hearty plate of trofie pasta with sausage and mushroom sauce.
