ORIGIN
Vineyards owned by the winery, on predominantly sandy soils of the coastal area, located near Narcao.
PROCESSING
Following the manual harvest, the bunches are subjected to whole bunch pressing and then sent to fermentation. After a very short cold maceration, the must is statically decanted. The fermentation, in steel and at a controlled temperature, takes place separately for the two types of grapes. It refines for approximately two and a half months in steel, of which 40 days on the fine lees. This is then followed by three in concrete tanks. It can evolve well and be consumed up to three years after the harvest.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow, with light greenish reflections.
Perfume: hints of tropical fruit and citrus nuances, light memories of aromatic herbs.
Taste: Soft and balanced, it is moderately warm, fresh and tasty.
COMBINATIONS
Samas is perfect to accompany fish-based dishes, for example linguine with seafood. It can also accompany savory pies and first courses seasoned with vegetables.
