Vineyards owned by the winery in Sulcis, in the south-western tip of Sardinia.
PROCESSING
The must ferments in stainless steel containers, and then the wine is transferred to refine in both wooden and steel barrels, where it remains to mature for several months. At the end of this rapid transition, the wine is bottled.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense ruby red
Aroma: intense, hints of red fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, herbaceous and balsamic notes.
Taste: on the palate it is decisive, velvety tannic texture, a harmonious and persistent structure. Persistent.
COMBINATIONS
Primo Rosso is a young and versatile red wine, capable of pairing with both meat-based menus, both first and second courses, and even fish, as long as they are not too elaborate. As an aperitif it is excellent with a platter of cold cuts and fresh cheeses.
