The name Akènta derives from a saying typical of the Sardinian dialect: A Kent'Annos in fact means A Hundred Years, a good omen, used in happy moments such as celebrations, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries.

ORIGIN

The vineyards are cultivated in the heart of the Natural Park of Porto Conte, a large protected oasis in Alghero.

PROCESSING AND AGING

Once harvested, the grapes are ready to be sparkling in an autoclave following the Charmat method, they are aged for 6 months sur lie. The yeasts in fact enhance the aromas and allow the formation of a fine and persistent perlage.

FEATURES

Colour: Bright, pale straw-yellow with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage.

Bouquet: Intense of white and yellow flowers with a good fruity, which combines well with a light note of bread crust.

Taste: It has good body, fresh, soft and pleasant flavor.

Excellent as an aperitif, ideal to accompany dishes based on fish, seafood and shellfish.
