Akènta Sub Spumante Extra Dry Santa Maria La Palma
Akènta Sub is the Sardinian sparkling wine aged under water. Clear and crystalline, the sea of Sardinia is undoubtedly the element that most distinguishes and enhances our island. Each bottle is a unique, unrepeatable piece. decorated with natural incrustations created by marine organisms. They are in fact to decorate every single package giving it uniqueness.

The vineyards are cultivated in the heart of the Natural Park of Porto Conte, a large protected oasis in Alghero. The sea breeze gives the grapes salinity and flavor typical of the territory.
PROCESSING AND AGING
Once harvested, the grapes are ready to be sparkling in an autoclave following the Charmat method, they are aged for 6 months sur lie. The yeasts in fact enhance the aromas and allow the formation of a fine and persistent perlage. A limited number of bottles of Akènta sparkling wine are selected for underwater aging, made about 40 meters deep in the crystal clear waters of the Isola Piana Marine Protected Area, facing the coast of the Porto Conte Park. Thanks to this unique refinement, Akènta becomes Akènta Sub.
Colour: Bright, pale straw-yellow with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage.
bouquet: Intense of white and yellow flowers with a good fruity, which combines well with a light note of bread crust.
Taste: It has good body, fresh, soft and pleasant flavor.
Excellent as an aperitif, ideal to accompany dishes based on fish, seafood and shellfish.
