Akènta Subaqueo is a sparkling wine refined underwater. Each bottle is a unique, unrepeatable piece. decorated by natural encrustations created by marine organisms.

GRAPE VARIETY 100% Vermentino


The vineyards are cultivated in the heart of the Porto Conte Natural Park, a large protected oasis in Alghero. The sea breeze gives the grapes the salinity and flavor typical of the area.

Once harvested, the grapes are ready to be made into sparkling wine in an autoclave following the Charmat method, they are aged for 6 months sur lie. In fact, the yeasts enhance the aromas and allow the formation of a fine and persistent perlage. A limited number of bottles are selected for underwater refinement, which takes place at approximately 40 meters deep in the waters of the Isola Piana Marine Protected Area, opposite the coasts of the Porto Conte Park. Thanks to this unique refinement, Akènta becomes Akènta Sub.

Color: Brilliant light straw yellow with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage.
Nose: Intense of white and yellow flowers with a good fruitiness, which combines excellently with a light note of bread crust.
Taste: It has a good body, fresh, soft and pleasant flavor.

Excellent as an aperitif, ideal to accompany fish, seafood and shellfish dishes.
