GRAPES Nieddera and other native red grapes of the area
ALCOHOL CONTENT 11.5%
ORIGIN
Vineyards trained as saplings with Guyot pruning and spurred cordon, on alluvial, sandy and partly clayey soils, Valle del Fiume Tirso (OR).
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, immediately transported to the cellar and subjected to soft pressing and white vinification, with fermentation at low temperatures in order to preserve the delicate aromas typical of Nieddera. We proceed with the cuvée, the addition of yeasts for the second fermentation and the refermentation in autoclave, according to the Martinotti-Charmat method.
CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: it appears in the flute as a pale pink with a fine and persistent perlage.
Aroma: inviting aromas of wild strawberries, rose buds and light notes of blackberry stand out.
Taste: fresh, delicate and fragrant, with good freshness and flavour, delicate aromas and a certain persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Perfect aperitif wine, excellent to accompany fried fish such as calamari and small fish.
