PROCESSING
The maceration of the skins in the must is prolonged for about three weeks to allow the balanced release of noble substances and color. It ages for at least 12 months in small French oak barrels and after bottling it rests in the bottle for a few months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Deep ruby red, with light garnet reflections produced by evolution.
Aroma: hints of ripe red fruits and jams, spicy notes of Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: in the mouth it is elegant, full, soft and persistent.
COMBINATIONS
Barriu It is a red wine to drink on special occasions , perfect to accompany savoury and structured cheeses , but also important second courses of meat, braised and grilled.
