The name Erema derives from the Etruscan and means small plant, in reference to the ancient origin of the vine.

ALCOHOL CONTENT 14.5%

ORIGIN
Vineyards owned by the winery, grown on soils formed by granite disintegration, composed partly of sand and clay.

PROCESSING
After the manual harvest, the bunches are destemmed and fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Maceration occurs on the skins and lasts about two weeks. Before bottling, the wine ages for a few months sur lie in steel vats.

It can rest in the cellar for 2-3 years after the harvest.

CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense ruby red, garnet hues.
Aroma: hints of cherries, ripe berries, secondary earthy notes.
Taste: fresh, soft and juicy.

COMBINATIONS
Excellent when paired with first courses seasoned with meat sauces or with roast meats such as the typical Maialetto. Also good as an aperitif with fresh cheeses, cold cuts and salami. Perfect with a good pizza topped with porcini mushrooms and guanciale.
