The Heart of Marinostru Red Tuna from the Alice Surgelati company has a preparation process very similar to that of bottarga.
In fact, it is obtained by processing the heart of tuna with sea salt and drying with natural ventilation.
Tuna Heart is an excellent product to be enjoyed cut into thin slices, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and a few drops of lemon. Ideal to accompany with a lightly dressed salad and bread.
Ingredients: Sardinian red tuna roe (Thunnus Thynnus) and salt. Caught in FAO Area 37.1.3.
