GRAPE VARIETY Arvisionadu 100%
ABV 13%
ORIGIN
The winery's vineyards, located 400 meters above sea level, are located in Benetutti, in the historic Goceano region, the heart of Sardinia, where the rare Arvisionadu grape is grown. The soil is predominantly sandy from granite disintegration, with small amounts of clay and quartz.
PROCESSING
Grape selection through manual harvesting, destemming, and gentle pressing. The must completes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 16°C. Aged in French oak barrels for 6 months and the other half in concrete vats for 6 months, bottled 2 months before release.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: bright golden yellow.
Aroma: notes of apricot, aromatic herbs and dried fruit stand out among others.
Taste: good structure, slightly tannic, savoury.
COMBINATIONS
Faula is a white wine with character, excellent with raw vegetables, seafood starters, meat-based pasta dishes, and fish main courses. It also pairs well with flavorful soft, blue, and semi-mature cheeses.
