GRAPE VARIETY Selection of Vermentino grapes
GRADATION 13%
ORIGIN
Vineyards owned by the winery, trained on espalier on granite disintegration soils at an altitude between 300 and 450 metres above sea level, in the countryside of Monti (OT).
PROCESSING
Once harvested, the Vermentino bunches are subjected to soft pressing. Once the free-run must is obtained, yeasts are inoculated, in stainless steel containers and at a controlled temperature, to start the alcoholic fermentation. It is then left to mature for a few months in steel containers, always at a controlled temperature, before completing the refinement in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Aroma: fruity and floral notes, but also citrus. Typical of Vermentino are the nuances of aromatic herbs.
Taste: fresh and savoury, full-bodied, with fine aromas and good persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Funtanaliras is a white wine that pairs perfectly with seafood, excellent to accompany delicate first courses and shellfish appetizers. It can be enjoyed easily as an aperitif.
