ORIGIN
Vineyards located in the Sulcis area, in the south-western tip of Sardinia.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, which in the cellar are partly pressed and subjected to cold pellicular maceration for twelve hours. The vinification is carried out with soft pressing, followed by maturation for two months in steel, before the final refinement in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow, shiny and thick.
Nose: Medium-sized nose with exotic fruit in the foreground with hints of mango and white peach.
Taste: broad but delicate; the alcohol is already well fused with delicate acid notes. In the retronasal phase, the memories of the olfactory examination return
COMBINATIONS
Giunco is a white wine perfect as an aperitif, as well as an ideal white wine to accompany fish-based first and second courses, but also a simple soup or vegetable risotto.
