PROCESSING
Hòspes is the result of a selection of grapes harvested in particularly productive years. The vinification involves a year-long fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel, thus preserving the typical aromas of Nepente. It is then refined in new 500-liter French oak tonneaux for another 18 months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: intense ruby red.
Aroma: intense and persistent, with hints of ripe red fruit, licorice and vanilla, light notes of Mediterranean scrub, soft and enveloping finish.
Taste: in the mouth it is balanced between alcoholic component, acidity and good tannicity.
COMBINATIONS
Hospes is a red wine ideal to accompany grilled meats, game and mature and spicy cheeses.
