Vineyards trained as saplings in the territory of Oliena (NU).
PROCESSING
Hòspes is the fruit of the selection of grapes harvested in particularly productive years. The vinification involves fermentation at a controlled temperature for one year in steel, thus preserving the typical aromas of Nepente. It is followed by refinement in new 500-litre French oak tonneaux for another 18 months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense ruby red.
Bouquet: intense and persistent, with hints of ripe red fruit, liquorice and vanilla, light notes of Mediterranean scrub, soft and enveloping finish.
Taste: in the mouth it is balanced between alcoholic component, acidity and good tannicity.
COMBINATIONS
Ideal to accompany grilled meats, game and mature and spicy cheeses.
