ORIGIN
Spurred cordon vineyards in the Isalle valley, approximately 350 metres above sea level, on soils with a strong calcareous composition, Dorgali (NU).
PROCESSING
Grapes harvested by hand and fermented and macerated in truncated cone-shaped wooden and steel containers for about 20 days. Aged for three months in second-passage barriques, and for another three months in cement tanks, before final refinement in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: bright intense red with purple reflections.
Aroma: intense and persistent with mineral, vegetal notes of sage and floral notes of geranium.
Taste: dry and warm, full and soft with a light tannic perception. Long and clean finish.
COMBINATIONS
Icorè is a red wine that goes well with tasty first courses such as lasagna with wild boar ragù, grilled and braised red meats, and mature cheeses.
