ORIGIN
Vineyards grown with the Guyot system in the municipality of Oliena.
PROCESSING
Strictly manual harvest of selected grapes, followed by their cooling for one night. Eighty percent of the mass is crushed and destemmed, while the remaining 20 percent is processed as a whole bunch. Fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After racking, malolactic fermentation takes place, followed by refinement on the fine lees for another 8 months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense ruby red.
Perfume: delicate floral notes, notes of fresh red fruit, wild blueberries, berries and plums in alcohol.
Taste: harmonious, balanced sip, with a pleasantly soft finish.
COMBINATIONS
Liju is certainly a wine to pair with land-based second courses, braised meats and roasts.
