Vineyards located in the Mamoiada area.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes in October, which once arrived in the cellar are subjected to destemming-crushing and maceration of the skins in the must together with native yeasts, for about two weeks. Mamuthone then ages in large barrels for twelve months before being bottled and marketed.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Dark ruby red.
Aroma: notes of ripe fruit, plum and cherry, and spicy hints of myrtle, vanilla and white pepper.
Taste: warm, soft and very long sip. Tannins present, round and well integrated, of great persistence.
COMBINATIONS
It is a red wine ideal for the whole meal, which goes well with tasty preparations based on red meats and very mature cheeses. Perfect with pizza.
