ORIGIN
The winery's own vineyards are trained using espalier systems on the Vigne Vecchie estate, characterised by good exposure and calcareous-clayey soil.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, which once transported to the cellar are started to soft pressing, natural decantation at a constant temperature of about 12°C, are carried out in an oxygen-free environment to preserve the must from oxidative phenomena. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 17°C for a duration of about 20 days. Then we move on to maturation, which is carried out for a few months always in steel, at the end of which the wine is bottled and marketed.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: pale straw yellow with greenish hues.
Aroma: intense primary aroma with a predominance of citrus notes and fresh fruit.
Taste: lively, very fresh and savoury, balanced, delicate, fine.
COMBINATIONS
Merì is a ready-to-drink white wine, excellent as an aperitif, with seafood and shellfish, to accompany sushi, sashimi and appetizers, light dishes based on white meat and fish.
