Sardinian Artisan Honey is prepared by hand in Villasor, by the VeroMiele farm.

Its production requires the tireless work of the Apis mellifera ligustica , considered the most important bee in the world from a productive point of view, particularly docile and very industrious.

The sugars contained in this product are those naturally present in honey, in compliance with the ancient tradition and the genuineness of the product. Chemical agents and other sugars are never added.

BENEFITS OF HONEY
1. Quick energy and toning effect, ideal for athletes after intense training.
2. Diuretic effect, especially alfalfa honey has diuretic effects on the body.
3. Excellent sweetener, ideal for people who need to reduce their sugar consumption.
4. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
5. Excellent cough reliever, thanks to its soothing and calming properties.

Types available in 500g/1kg formats:
MILLEFIORI
Multi-flower honey is the fruit of the spontaneous blooms of Erica, Lavandula, Asphodel, Cistus and Rosemary, which give rise to a perfect mix. Its flavor changes with each production, remaining, however, always linked to its rich and spicy aroma.

EUCALYPTUS
Certainly the most produced honey on the island. Eucalyptus is a plant native to Australia, transplanted to Sardinia at the beginning of the century. Eucalyptus honey is amber in color with more or less dark tones, sometimes a light honeydew may be present; it crystallizes quickly and compactly.

ALFALFA
Alfalfa honey is produced mainly in areas with a humid and warm climate. It has an amber color and crystallizes quite slowly, turning into a sort of beige; its scent is reminiscent of freshly cut grass, while its flavor is sweet and delicate.

THISTLE
Typical plant of Sardinia, widespread especially in the rural areas of the island. Cardoon honey is amber in color, while when it crystallizes its color changes to much lighter tones.
