ORIGIN
Vineyards with saplings located in a particular area of the municipality of Mogoro, characterized by sandy soils.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, which once in the cellar are started on pre-fermentative maceration for about ten days with inoculation of selected yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, at a controlled temperature of 26° C. San Bernardino then matures for a few months in steel before the final refinement in glass.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Bright red with rich purple hues.
Aroma: the aroma of racking is accompanied by that of fresh berries.
Taste: In the mouth it reveals structure, and is characterized by the balance between freshness, sweet tannins and persistence.
COMBINATIONS
San Bernardino is a red wine that pairs well with first courses seasoned with meat sauces or cheeses. Also excellent with braised and roasted meats but also semi-mature cheeses. It pairs well with pizza and large fish, cooked roasted or with tasty sauces.
