Ungrafted vineyards trained as saplings , on the typical sandy soils of the island of Sant'Antioco.
PROCESSING
After the manual harvest, the grapes are sent to alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, for about ten days. The Nur wine matures for a few months in steel and completes the refinement with 3 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: bright and lively ruby red.
Aroma: sensations of fresh fruit, cherries, currants and blueberries, framed by nuances of Mediterranean herbs and hints of saltiness.
Taste: pleasant structure, discreet softness and alcohol content, refreshed by a good freshness and a decisive flavour.
COMBINATIONS
Nur is a very versatile red wine, excellent both as an accompaniment to an aperitif and at the table with first courses seasoned with meat sauce. Excellent with porchetta, roast red meats and with strong flavors such as lamb.
