ORIGIN
Vineyards located in Maristella, in the bay of Porto Conte. The area is close to the sea, which characterizes the terroir thanks to its exposure to wind and sun. Red earths very rich in iron and clay.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, after soft cold pressing we proceed to fermentation in steel at low temperature. In order to enhance the aromas of the Vermentino itself, the refinement is always carried out in steel, leaving the wine in contact with the noble lees for three months, through batonnage sur lie. This will be followed by maturation in the bottle lasting 1 month.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: straw yellow.
Bouquet: intense, vinous, persistent and fruity with hints of melon, banana and bitter almond.
Taste: full, soft, intense and persistent, fruity with a bitter aftertaste typical of Vermentino.
COMBINATIONS
Vermentino Papiri goes well with all fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
