GRAPES Moscato
ALCOHOL CONTENT 14.5%
ORIGIN
The winery's own vines, trained using the spurred cordon system on land 70 metres above sea level characterised by sandy-clayey soil, Sorso (SS).
PROCESSING
The Moscato grapes, harvested manually, are first softly pressed, then fermented at low temperatures in steel and wood. Then follows the refinement, during which the wine matures in small French wood barrels for almost 2 years and finishes maturing in the bottle for about 6 months.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: golden yellow with marked amber reflections.
Aroma: penetrating, with hints of honey, apricot and pineapple and notes of spices.
Taste: extremely velvety with a pleasant balance of flavours that makes the tasting long and inebriating.
COMBINATIONS
Perfect meditation wine, while at the table it pairs well with traditional Sardinian desserts or a honey sebada, as well as desserts such as apple tart or strudel. Also excellent with sheep's blue cheeses.
