ORIGIN
Vineyards owned by the winery, grown at 350 meters above sea level on sandy soils from granite disintegration, located in the heart of Gallura, in Luras (OT).
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, which once arrived in the cellar are subjected to soft pressing and crushing, then moving on to the static decantation of the must. Then we move on to the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature followed by malolactic fermentation and refinement, which takes place partially in stainless steel containers.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow with light greenish reflections.
Aroma: Long, fine and elegant bouquet with hints of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, flowers such as broom, aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean scrub, with light citrus notes and sensations of saltiness.
Taste: broad and velvety, fresh and savoury with salty notes and a characteristic hazelnut aftertaste
COMBINATIONS
Ruinas is a white wine perfect as an aperitif with semi-mature cheeses, while at the table it gives its best when paired with seafood dishes . Second courses of baked or sauced fish, but also appetizers based on crustaceans and molluscs.
