GRAPES: Aromatic white grapes typical of the Sanluri area
ALCOHOL CONTENT 14.5%
PROCESSING
The grapes are harvested by hand and then destemmed and crushed. The must, still in contact with the skins, is fermented in stainless steel containers at a temperature of 16°C; once the must has been pressed and the marc has been removed, fermentation continues in the same conditions until it stops naturally. Su'Luci then ages in stainless steel containers for about eight months before bottling and final refinement.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense and bright ochre yellow.
Aroma: honeyed notes, withered white flowers and dried fruit.
Taste: Sweet notes and hints of candied orange and apricot jam, a pleasant freshness that cleanses the palate and accompanies the long persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Su'Luci is a perfect passito to accompany typical Sardinian desserts and blue cheeses, a good reading companion, to try on goat cheese with drops of strawberry tree honey.
