The name on the label of Vermentino Luris is a clear reference to the town where the winery is located, Luras, in the heart of Gallura.

ORIGIN
Vineyards trained on espalier with spurred cordon pruning on the hills of Luras, in the heart of Gallura, approximately 350 metres above sea level, on granite disintegration soils.
PROCESSING
The bunches are picked by hand and quickly taken to the cellar, where they are subjected to soft pressing, in order to obtain the best of the free-run must to be started on alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts, at a temperature of around 18° C. Once the alcoholic fermentation is completed, Luris undergoes a partial malolactic fermentation and maturation in steel containers, before the final refinement in the bottle and the placing on the market.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: straw yellow.
Aroma: fine notes of white flowers such as honeysuckle, peach and white-fleshed melon, delicate citrus peel and hints of Mediterranean scrub and aromatic herbs.
Taste: fresh and savoury, with a pleasant structure, persistence and finesse.
COMBINATIONS
Luris is a white wine perfect for an aperitif, accompanied by soft cheeses. Also perfect with a very fresh raw plate.
