Vineyards owned by the winery located in the Oristano area.
PROCESSING
Fermentation and vinification in red. After a 5-day maceration, the skins remain soaked for another 10 days in the fermenting must at a temperature of about 24 °C. Aged for 6 months in a cement tank, followed by a few months of bottle aging before being put on the market, intentionally young.
CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: intense ruby red, with purple reflections.
Aroma: intense, complex, with fruity, floral and Mediterranean scents.
Taste: dry, fresh and with great structure. Its full, intense, warm taste, good acidity and marked flavor that give this wine a great persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Tostoinu is an excellent red wine to pair with a platter of cured meats and aged cheeses, but also with red meats and game. Try it with important dishes based on fresh red tuna.
