ORIGIN
Vineyards of Tenuta Sa Tanca, in the Selegas area, medium-calcareous soils, approximately 230 metres above sea level.
PROCESSING
The carefully selected grapes are subjected to fermentation at a controlled temperature of 28-32°C. Maceration lasts approximately 16-18 days, then using the delestage technique to ensure oxygenation of the must. It ages for 18-24 months in new French oak barriques. It finishes its refinement for 12-14 months in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: intense ruby red.
Perfume: presence of a rich and complex bouquet.
Taste: great structure, balanced, fine and persistent.
COMBINATIONS
Turriga is a structured red wine, excellent when paired with important dishes such as stewed wild boar, game and spiced red meats. It pairs well with mature cheeses.
