ORIGIN
Villa di Chiesa is the result of a careful selection, the right blend between typical grapes and the noble Chardonnay, grown in espalier style on the hills that overlook the sea from the lower Sulcis.

PROCESSING
During the harvest, the best bunches are selected, picked by hand and immediately transported to the cellar. The vinification begins with the soft pressing of the grapes and the obtaining of the free-run must, which is fermented in barriques. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine continues to mature in barriques on its own yeasts, with frequent bâtonnage, in order to favor the extraction of all the aromatic substances from them. Finally, it is refined for six months in the bottle, before being put on the market.

CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: bright straw yellow with golden reflections.
Aroma: delicate aromas of exotic fruit combined with more decisive notes of butter and banana.
Taste: soft with good flavor, persistent. Finish with a pleasant note of vanilla and citrus, the result of a perfect integration between the wine and the barrique.

COMBINATIONS
Villa di Chiesa is a structured white wine that enhances both white and red meat dishes, but also roasted and sauced fish. Also perfect with medium-aged cheeses.
