Cannonau born from stone
Mineral, floral, with a surprising depth in every glass.
The Isalle Valley, 350 meters above sea level, is a unique territory: soils with a strong calcareous composition that give Cannonau a rare and recognizable minerality. Icorè is born here, from hand-harvested grapes, and brings to the glass the authentic character of one of the most acclaimed areas of Dorgali.
The nose is intense and complex: mineral notes, sage, geranium. On the palate it is dry, warm, full and soft, with a slight tannicity and a long, clean finish that invites another sip.
This wine is for you if:
- You love Cannonau with personality and unexpected nuances
- You are looking for an everyday red but with the quality of an award-winning label
- You want a wine that can accompany the richest dishes of Sardinian cuisine
Why Icorè is different:
Fermentation and maceration in truncated conical wooden and steel containers for 20 days, then three months in second-passage barriques and another three months in concrete tanks. A refining process designed to preserve the freshness and minerality of the territory, without covering them with wood.
