Barrosu in the Sardinian language means bold, stubborn, arrogant and it is the nickname that Giovanni Montisci, with great self-irony, gave to his wine and to himself.

65 year old vineyards owned by the winery located in Mamoiada (NU).
PROCESSING
Fermentation takes place in small 1000 litre vats for approximately 25 days, while the refinement lasts 12 months in barrels and subsequently 3 months in bottles.
Production of 5800 bottles.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: ruby red
Aroma: hints of spice and berries combine with notes of Mediterranean scrub and myrtle
Taste: fresh, elegant, full but very drinkable, leaves a savoury and mineral trail
COMBINATIONS
It pairs perfectly with typical Sardinian dishes, red meats, game and venison.
