GRAPES Carignano
ALCOHOL CONTENT 13.5%
ORIGIN
Vineyards owned by the winery located in Giba, Masainas, Sant'Anna Arresi, in Sulcis.
PROCESSING
The grapes are destemmed and crushed and the must is left in contact with the marc and to ferment for almost twenty days, in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. Aged in French oak barrels and in steel tanks, followed by ageing in the bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: dark ruby red.
Aroma: tones of dark fruit, plum and cherry, with hints of liquorice, mineral and toasted notes.
Taste: Complex, with robust but well-managed tannins, which will make it age beautifully over the next ten years.
COMBINATIONS
Ideal to accompany any meat-based second course, also excellent with land-based first courses.
