ORIGIN
The winery's own vineyards, grown at an altitude of 350 meters on sandy soils of disintegrated granite, located in the heart of Gallura, in Luras (OT).
PROCESSING
Manual harvesting of the grapes, which once they arrive at the winery are subjected to crushing and soft pressing, then static decantation of the must. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, then malolactic fermentation and aging, which takes place partially in stainless steel containers.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow with slight greenish reflections.
Aroma: Long, fine and elegant bouquet with hints of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, flowers like broom, aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean scrub, with light citrus notes and sensations like saltiness.
Taste: broad and velvety, fresh and savory with briny notes and a characteristic hazelnut aftertaste
PAIRINGS
Ruinas is a perfect white wine as an aperitif with semi-aged cheeses, while at the table it excels when paired with seafood dishes. Baked fish dishes or fish in sauces, but also appetizers based on crustaceans and mollusks.
