ORIGIN
Vineyards located in the countryside surrounding Alghero, with the calcareous soils of Villassunta and Usini.
PROCESSING
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of October and ferment in steel tanks for approximately 18 days. It is then aged in Allier French oak barriques for 14 months, followed by further maturation in steel.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Ruby red with purple reflections.
Aroma: Spicy, with notes of black fruits and hints of Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: Balanced palate, full with silky and long tannins.
COMBINATIONS
It pairs well with medium-aged cheeses, risottos, boiled meats, and roasted white or red meats.
