Matafalua, which in Sardinian means Wild Fennel , is a liqueur made from wild fennel seeds and leaves.
Despite the high alcohol content, its herbaceous notes and aromatic profile stand out. On the palate, the taste is dry, soft, with excellent persistence and intensity.
It is excellent to taste fresh as an aperitif, or at the end of a meal after coffee, perhaps accompanied by a typical Sardinian dessert.
It has an alcohol content of 40% vol.
