The name Bagadiu means "single" in Sardinian, because unlike the tradition of Mandrolisai DOC where Bovale is "married" to Cannonau and Monica, here the varietal remains "single" to fully express its authentic character.
The grapes grow in the vineyards of Cantina Fradiles, trained as bush vines in Atzara, at 550 meters on Gennargentu, on granitic soils that impart unique freshness and minerality.

AROMA: Long bouquet with hints of wild berries, cherries, and Mediterranean scrub, balsamic and spicy notes
TASTE: Fresh and moderately tannic, warm and soft, intense and persistent
AGING: 8 months in oak barrels
