It is born in the Filieri area, about 300 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soils that give Cannonau that savory structure and softness that make it immediately recognizable. A red wine with character, product of one of the most suitable areas in all of Nuoro, Sardinia.

Why Filieri is a different Cannonau:
Cantina Dorgali vinifies grapes grown exclusively in the company's vineyards, trained in guyot and alberello (bush vine) according to Sardinian tradition. Fermentation takes place in steel at controlled temperature for about two weeks, followed by aging for one month in large French oak barrels and six months in concrete tanks, a process that builds complexity without sacrificing the typical freshness of Cannonau. The result is an intense ruby wine, with notes of ripe fruit and a delicate hint of vanilla, ready to drink but with good aging potential.
