This wine pays homage to Hassan, known as 'the handsome', Third King of Algiers in 1541. Born as a young shepherd on the island of Asinara, he was torn from his flock, and later won the favour of Kheie-ed-Dinn, known as Barbarossa.

ORIGIN
The vineyards are cultivated on medium-textured sandy soils, trained using the spurred cordon system in Sorso (SS).
PROCESSING
The harvested grapes are cooled using cells. The best bunches are then selected and the stems are gently destemmed. This is followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration on the skins for 20 days in steel at a temperature of 24°C. It is refined in new French oak barriques for at least 14 months and then in the bottle for at least 1 year before being released for sale.
