The late harvest Vermentino that changes the rules.
Unexpected complexity, recognized as the best Vermentino di Gallura.
Not all Vermentino wines are alike. MontidiMola is made from the same grapes as Sciala, but harvested later, when the aromatic concentration has reached its peak. The result is a white wine that surprises: broader, deeper, and more persistent than you would expect from a Vermentino.
On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe fruit and Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, it is soft, long, with fruity notes intertwined with mineral and tertiary hints in a finish that continues to evolve.
This wine is for you if:
- You love structured white wines, capable of standing up to great red wines
- You are looking for a Vermentino that goes beyond fresh and easy-drinking
- You want to bring a label to the table that gets people talking
Why MontidiMola is different:
The late harvest is just the first step. The must remains in contact with the skins for 12/24 hours at less than 10 degrees, then ferments half in large untoasted French oak barrels and half in steel and concrete. Six months of aging on its lees, then at least nine months in the bottle. A long and precise process, designed to build complexity without losing freshness.

Serving suggestions:
Seafood cuisine in all its forms, but also delicate white meat dishes, risottos, and pasta dishes with mushrooms and truffles. A white wine structured enough not to be overwhelmed by more complex flavors.
