Old single vineyard, trained as a sapling, located on clayey soils rich in sand, with a good limestone fraction, Sinis peninsula (OR).
Manual harvest, the grapes are subjected to destemming and crushing. The must is left to macerate in contact with the skins for fifteen days, then softly pressed. It is then matured in first and second passage French oak tonneaux for approximately twelve months, and finally refined in the bottle for six months.
Color: ruby red with garnet reflections.
Nose: intense, with hints of red fruits, balsamic notes and spices.
Taste: on the palate it is soft, warm and balanced by round tannins and a strong freshness.
Excellent in combination with roasts and braised meats and mature cheeses.
