ORIGIN
Vineyard owned by the winery, trained with espalier and spurred cordon and guyot pruning, seven hundred metres above sea level in the countryside of Mamoiada, on the typical granite sand.
PROCESSING
Harvest exclusively by hand, carried out in mid-October with grape selection in 20 kg boxes. Fermentation in steel, aging in French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Aroma: Hints of sweet spices, vanilla.
Taste: full and intense fruit, the tannin is soft and silky with a notable persistence in the mouth.
COMBINATIONS
Cannonau Jankara is perfect with legume soups, red meats, mature cheeses and spicy cured meats. Excellent with the typical Sardinian roast suckling pig or grilled sausage.
