ORIGIN
Vineyards grown in the Monti su countryside granite weathering lands , between 300 and 450 meters above sea level.
PROCESSING
The hand-picked grapes are taken to the cellar and sent for red vinification, with soft pressing. Fermentation in the presence of the pomace in the must lasts fifteen days. Once the wine is obtained, Galana is matured in French oak barriques for thirteen months. It concludes with bottle aging for almost a year and a half.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Dark ruby red.
Perfume: notes of red fruit jam, traces of vanilla and Mediterranean scrub.
Taste: warm, soft and enveloping, with good persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Perfect throughout the meal, it goes best with roast meat dishes. Excellent with the typical roast pork.
