Vines from the Costera estates in Sarais and Sisini, in the Siurgus Donigala countryside.
PROCESSING AND AGING
Maceration of the skins on the marc for about ten days, followed by malolactic fermentation in vitrified cement vats and maturation in small re-used oak barrels.
FEATURES
Color: ruby red, good consistency.
Bouquet: clear aromas of red fruit, floral memories and some undergrowth nuances, light spicy notes.
Taste: dry and warm wine, discreet softness, good freshness and well-shaped tannins.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Perfect with pizza. It goes well with medium-structured cheese platters, but also with savory first courses such as ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Also excellent with traditional meat main courses such as lamb and suckling pig on the spit.
