Vineyards owned by the winery, characterized by medium-textured soils made of clayey limestone.
PROCESSING
Once harvested, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Maceration follows for approximately 10 days at a temperature of 28°C. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then transferred to French oak barrels where it is aged for at least 6 months. After this period, maturation is completed in vitrified concrete tanks. Ideal consumption 3 years after harvest, but can tolerate aging of 6-8 years.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: ruby red with garnet reflections as aging progresses.
Bouquet: intense and persistent, vinous, with balsamic notes and hints of berries.
Taste: full, round and juicy. Persistent and clean finish.

Ideal for roasted red meats, game and tasty cheeses.
