The name Capichera, from the Latin caput erat “it was the capital”, is the ancient name of the family estate.

Vineyards owned by the winery located in Gallura.
PROCESSING
Manual harvest of the grapes, which once subjected to destemming, first undergo alcoholic fermentation in steel and then malolactic fermentation in barrique. Aged for about 6 months in new and semi-new barriques before bottling.
It has a high aging potential, even 3-4 years after the harvest.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Straw yellow with golden reflections
Nose: Rich and complex with wild flowers, hawthorn, wisteria, rosemary, thyme, lavender, pineapple and flint
Taste: Dry, lively, full and enveloping, with fruity and aromatic pulp. The finish is rich and persistent with rich mineral flavor and elegant fullness
COMBINATIONS
Capichera is excellent when paired with fish-based first courses, grilled fish and stewed octopus, but also shellfish and fresh cheeses.
