ORIGIN
Vineyards trained with spurred cordon, on hilly terrain characterised by medium-clayey mixes with rocky fractions in the Sinis Peninsula (OR).
PROCESSING
Red winemaking. Maceration lasts about 14 days at a controlled temperature of around 24 °C. Aged for at least 12 months in first, second and third passage oak barriques. It is then aged in a cement tank for a year and in the bottle until it is released for sale.
CHARACTERISTICS
Color: Garnet red with purple reflections.
Aroma: Refined combination of red grape fruits and toasted wood.
Taste: Dry and soft, with good persistence.
COMBINATIONS
Corash is a structured red wine perfect to accompany a typical platter of local cured meats and cheeses. At the table it is a wine that requires structured dishes such as a traditional baked lasagna or eggplant parmigiana, a braised pork stew.
